Professional Development Residency
The residency requirement for the higher education master’s degree is a four-day professional development series on ACU’s campus. The residency combines social and networking opportunities as well as professional development. The residency session is offered once a year during the summer. While some lunches are included in the cost of the program, students are responsible for their own lodging, transportation, other meals and any additional costs.
On-campus Residency Fosters Relationships
Students in Abilene Christian University’s Master of Education in Higher Education program participate in a weeklong on-campus residency. Students like Antonese Curry, a Fort Worth native, are able to build relationships with their cohort and learn in a hands-on classroom setting, adding variety to the online program.
